Gather is an event aggregator. Event information is sourced from publicly accessible online sources. The Pathfinder section may include sponsored or promoted listings.

We make no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of event information displayed. Event details (dates, venues, prices) are provided by third-party sources and may change without notice. Always verify directly with the organiser before attending.
Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Gather (gather.weaved.ch) handles personal data, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG / revDSG, in force since 1 September 2023).
Data we collect
- Server logs — Your IP address and browser user-agent are recorded in standard web server logs when you visit the site. Logs are retained for up to 30 days and used solely for security and debugging purposes.
- Event submissions — If you submit an event via the submission form, we collect the event details and the organiser name and email address you provide. This data is stored in our database and used only to review and publish the submitted event. We do not share it with third parties.
- Contact messages — If you send a message via the contact form on this page, we receive your name and message. This is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
- Browser storage — We store your language preference and saved filter presets in your browser's
localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare — Our domain traffic passes through Cloudflare's network, which processes IP addresses as part of its infrastructure. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Calendar / WhatsApp — The "Add to Calendar" and "Share on WhatsApp" buttons are client-side links that open Google or WhatsApp directly in your browser. Clicking them is subject to their respective privacy policies. We do not transmit data on your behalf.
No tracking
We use no analytics services, tracking pixels, or cookies. There is no user account system and no profiling. The Pathfinder section may display sponsored listings; these do not involve any tracking or data transmission.
Data retention and your rights
Server logs are deleted after 30 days. Submitted event data is kept until the event has passed or the submission is rejected. Under the nDSG you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Contact us at [email protected].
